We’re hiring a paralegal to join our growing estate planning law firm! The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm setting, enjoy working closely with a small team, and have impeccable attention to detail. Assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating law office activity, and conducting legal research. This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday. Responsibilities: • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible Draft and prepare estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards Conduct thorough legal research to support attorneys in delivering top-notch legal advice Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, ensuring timely and precise submissions Maintain organized and up-to-date client files, safeguarding confidentiality and accessibility Collaborate with attorneys to develop strategies that align with clients' estate planning goals Communicate effectively with clients, answering questions and providing updates on their cases promptly and clearly Qualifications: • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference 2+ years of experience in a law firm setting; preference given to those with experience in estate planning Ability to draft and prepare legal documents with precision and adherence to legal standards Proven track record of conducting thorough legal research to support attorneys effectively Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient and accessible case filing system Ability to manage administrative duties, including answering phone calls and scheduling Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear updates on their cases Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document preparation and filing submissions on time Enthusiasm for process improvement and trying new things This is an in-person position, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
