    The Estate Planning Paralegal provides specialized support to attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing cases related to estate planning. This role is crucial in ensuring that the legal process is efficient and that clients' needs are met with precision and care. By expertly managing the preparation and processing of estate planning documents, this position ensures that clients receive accurate and timely legal services, helping them protect their assets and plan for the future with confidence. Responsibilities: Document Preparation and Review: • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other related documents. • Prepare and organize documents for client signing appointments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate. • Review client information to ensure all documents are tailored to meet specific needs and legal requirements. Client Interaction: • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on the status of their cases and answering questions. • Assist in gathering client information, such as asset inventories and beneficiary designations, to ensure accurate document preparation. • Coordinate and schedule client meetings, signing appointments, and follow-up consultations. Research and Case Management: • Assist attorneys in case management, tracking deadlines, and required actions to ensure all client matters are handled efficiently. • Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Coordination with Third Parties: • Communicate with financial institutions, insurance companies, and other third parties to obtain necessary information and documents. Technology and Software Management: • Utilize legal software specific to estate planning for document preparation, client management, and case tracking. • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and other relevant software tools. Administrative Support: • Help manage the firm’s estate planning resources, such as forms, templates, and research databases. • Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including calendaring, correspondence, and filing. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate planning or a related legal field. • A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification from an accredited program is required. • Strong understanding of estate planning laws and procedures. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
