Compensation- Pay rate will be determined based on experience Responsibilities: • Ensure seamless legal processes from start to finish. • Assist in drafting legal documents for estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on estate planning laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards. • Maintain and organize client files meticulously, ensuring all essential documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. • Manage client files and maintain accurate case documentation in the firm’s case management system. • Work closely with associated team members & attorneys to review and finalize estate planning documents, making any required revisions to ensure legal compliance. • Attend client signings in the capacity of notary public and witness, depending on needs. Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal or Legal Assistant. • The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of legal protocols and paperwork related to estate planning. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and other legal professionals are essential. • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are vital qualities required for this opportunity. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document preparation software. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. • Experience with legal case management software (Clio, WealthCounsel, LawMatics, or similar) is a plus. • Professional demeanor and client-service mindset.
