About the Role:

Blue Moon Estate Sales of Central Pennsylvania is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Estate Sale Specialist to join our growing team in Lancaster, PA. Responsibilities:

Meet management at a newly engaged estates sale client's property

Review, understand and support the goals of having an estate sale

Research, identify, and assist in pricing a wide variety of items including antiques, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, and household goods firearms, military memborabilia

Assist clients and customers throughout the sale process with professionalism and empathy

Conduct inventory cataloging and photography for online listings and marketing materials

Verify descriptions of the items within our proprietary app

Seek out and connect with buyers who may be interested in specific items

examples, buyers of: Military memorabilia, pianos, musical instruments, trading cards, crystal, china, art, tools and etc.

Invite and manage buyers to "preview" the items before the scheduled event.

Coordinate with estate sale team members to ensure smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of sales

Maintain knowledge of current market trends, resale values, and collectible categories

Coordinate all efforts with the general manager

Requirements:

Prior experience in estate sales, antiques, resale, or a related field preferred

Knowledge of antiques, vintage items, collectibles, or general household goods valuation

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to lift and move furniture and boxes (up to 50 lbs) during setup and breakdown

Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends as estate sales typically run Friday–Sunday

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities

Comfortable using basic technology including smartphones, tablets, and point-of-sale systems

Our clients love us for our compassionate approach, transparent process, and ability to achieve top-dollar results for their estates. Our team members enjoy a dynamic work environment, flexible scheduling, and the satisfaction of doing meaningful work that truly helps families every day.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in some related work. That may include, antiques, auctions, flea markets and other.

The position will be compensated at $20.00/hr and a commission on the items sold.

The position is open for immediate placement
