Job Description

We are looking for paralegals with no less than 2 years family law, immigration, probate, employment, real estate, and civil law experience. [Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus] Applicant will also need to be experienced in civil litigation in general. Applicant must be reliable and knowledgeable about court procedure and be capable of handling cases, clients and courts simultaneously. When a potential client contacts our office, applicant must be able to screen the quality of clients and appeal to the potential client. When an attorney needs assistance, applicant must assist with judicial council forms, filings and case management. Applicant must be able to handle billing, communication with clients, process servers, court clerks, and opposing counsel. We are a full-service law firm and expect our paralegals to be able to learn and excel at any area of the law. We also practice in the areas of family law, probate, estate planning, criminal law, immigration, real estate, employment law, civil litigation, and contracts. Exceptional writing skills are a must, as paralegals are required to draft letters and some pleadings.

Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming cases, be involved in fact-finding projects and be responsible for developing and maintaining an index system for all case files. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all of our clients' needs
