Blue Water Spa, a luxury North Shore day spa, is seeking a Licensed Esthetician with 1–3 years of experience to join our busy and talented team. We specialize in high-end, results driven skincare treatments that combine science and luxury — using advanced modalities and customized protocols to deliver visible results.

Position: Esthetician

Location: Oyster Bay, NY

Schedule: 20–40 hours per week

Availability: Evenings and weekends required

Compensation: $16.50–$20 per hour, based on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Has 1–3 years of hands-on experience in facials and advanced skincare.

• Is passionate about results-driven, luxury skincare.

• Is comfortable performing treatments using multiple modalities (microdermabrasion, LED, peels, microcurrent, etc.).

• Brings warmth, professionalism, and excellent client communication.

As an esthetician, you will introduce clients to a variety of skincare products and services and work with them to achieve their skin health goals. Clients will rely on you for skin care product recommendations and treatments, including facial massage and waxing.

Responsibilities

Provide skin and body treatments including waxing, makeup application, and facial massage.

Advise clients on skin care options and best practices

Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner and develop rapport

Maintain an organized schedule, including scheduling, confirming, and canceling appointments

Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are cleaned and maintained to meet or exceed safety standards

Qualifications

Valid esthetician’s license

Proven experience as an esthetician is preferred

Experience in the use of skin care equipment such as Cryoskin or Hydrafacial is preferred but not required

Deep understanding of skin care techniques

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of ethics
