    About the Opportunity

    This is a proactive strategic hire focused on strengthening and evolving our preconstruction team. We are not urgently backfilling due to workload — we’re investing in our future. Beyond estimating, we seek a team member who buys into our vision, helps mentor others, and ultimately may grow into leadership.

    Client interaction and collaboration with design teams are central to this role.

    What You’ll Do

    • Deliver accurate, fair, and insightful cost estimates across all project phases.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Champion continuous improvement of internal preconstruction processes and systems.
    • Collaborate actively with clients, architects, and internal teams.
    • Develop preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction budgets.
    • Offer creative cost-saving and quality-enhancing solutions.
    • Generate project schedules that guide from design through construction.
    • Perform constructability reviews to reduce changes and risks.
    • Consult on building system designs, fostering smarter, better builds.

    What You Bring

    Experience: 3+ years of construction estimating experience
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience

    Technical Proficiency:

    • CMiC or similar project management tools
    • Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (or comparable scheduling software)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required)
    • Destini or equivalent estimating software
    • Autodesk Revit and Navisworks familiarity preferred (BIM savvy)

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000 DOE
