Job Title: Estimator – High-End Residential Construction

Location: Brooklyn, NY

A high-end residential construction firm is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team in Brooklyn. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to grow within the luxury residential market. Experience with custom homes, high-end interiors, commercial projects, or luxury retail interiors is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to understand full project scope

• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing

• Assist in preparing budgets, estimates, bid packages, and quantity takeoffs

• Review scopes of work, schedules, logistics plans, and general conditions

• Help identify project risks, constructability concerns, and cost-saving alternatives

• Maintain accurate project documentation and cost tracking information

• Coordinate with operations and project teams throughout the estimating process

• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams

Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of estimating experience within construction

• Luxury residential experience preferred but not required

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Ability to read construction drawings and break down project scopes

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
