Mick’s Grass & Sod Service, Inc. is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This role will focus on preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for production and commercial construction projects, including landscaping, irrigation, drainage, grading, sod installation, and related sitework.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines, and brings strong organizational and communication skills to the table.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze project requirements, drawings, and specifications

Develop detailed cost estimates for production and commercial construction projects

Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate, competitive bids

Stay current on industry standards, pricing, and materials

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimating (production or commercial preferred)

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software (such as Stack) is a plus

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

College degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary range: $45,000 – $60,000, based on experience
