Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with specific experience in the sign industry, including estimating for service, installation, and outsourced manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and working closely with vendors, installation teams, and service departments to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for signage projects.

• Estimate costs for installation, service, and outsourced manufacturing, including materials, labor, and equipment.

• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to determine project needs and provide pricing recommendations.

• Solicit and analyze quotes from external vendors for outsourced manufacturing and services.

• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

• Prepare detailed bids, proposals, and job costing reports.

• Monitor project budgets and update estimates as necessary to reflect scope changes or unforeseen conditions.

• Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors.

• Keep up to date with industry trends and pricing fluctuations in materials and services.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the sign industry.

• Proven experience estimating for service, installation, and outsourced manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of materials, labor costs, and equipment related to signage production and installation.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
