Overview 
Our steel fabrication industry client is confidentially seeking an Estimator in the greater Baltimore, MD area. This role focuses on performing takeoffs, developing cost estimates, and preparing competitive bids for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings to define scope.
  

• Perform accurate takeoffs for structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
  

• Gather and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete bid proposals.
  

• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
  

• Support project handoff to Project Management and assist with scope clarifications.
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related estimating experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  

• Strong communication skills and valid driver’s license.
