    Job Title: Estimator & Inside Sales Coordinator

    Alliance Industries is growing, and we’re looking for an Estimator & Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team at our Appleton headquarters. This position plays a key role in supporting our customers, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring a smooth handoff to production.     With more than 50 years serving the Midwest, Alliance Industries is a trusted provider of powder coating, metal finishing, sand blasting, media blasting, and foundry sand core manufacturing. We operate three Wisconsin facilities (Appleton, Waupaca, and Wausau), with ISO 9001:2015 certification, seven production lines, and the capability to coat parts from ounces up to 2,000 lbs.

    The company is entering a major expansion phase, growing OEM relationships and preparing for significant scale in 2026.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review prints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
    • Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent communication
    • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Production, and Accounting
    • Follow up on submitted quotes and track wins/losses
    • Maintain estimating databases and ensure specification accuracy
    • Support continuous improvement in estimating, quality, and customer experience

    What Success Looks Like

    • Accurate, reliable quotes with minimal rework
    • Strong customer communication and satisfaction
    • Contribution to $1M–$2M in new revenue tied to quoting and relationship-building
    • Consistent output of quotes with a healthy win rate

    Who Thrives Here

    • Inside sales and/or estimating experience (manufacturing, coatings, machining, fabrication, or similar fields)
    • Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer requirements
    • Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through
    • Comfort working with customers and internal production teams
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems a plus
    • A collaborative, team-oriented work style
