About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Estimator/Detailer to support commercial construction projects specializing in doors, frames, and hardware. Our company has been in business for over 30 years, built on a reputation for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term client relationships. In this role, you’ll be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing detailed take-offs, and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure projects are accurately scoped and priced.

What You’ll Do

Prepare detailed estimates, material take-offs, and proposals for upcoming projects.

Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings to determine project requirements and scope.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to clarify details and resolve questions.

Track material pricing, vendor quotes, and assist with procurement planning.

Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project data.

Support the team with project budgeting, scheduling, and cost analysis as needed.

What You Bring

Commercial construction experience is required, preferably in doors, frames, and hardware.

Proven ability to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.

Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and industry standards.

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project or similar project management/estimating software.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Work Environment

Office-based role with occasional site visits.

Occasional overtime may be required during peak estimating periods.
