    Operational Facilities Manager at Ethan Stowell Restaurants Ethan Stowell Restaurants is growing, and we are looking for the right person to join our team as the Operational Facilities Manager. Our facilities department provides support to each of our locations ~ providing our managers, chefs, partners, and vendors, with the tools they need to take care of our guests and each other. The role of the Operational Facilities Manager is to work hand in hand with our facilities team in the field as well as with our development team on both day to day issues and new and exciting long term projects. You will report to the Director of Development and collaborate with the leadership on the improvement and maintenance of our current restaurant locations and offer creative solutions during the design and construction of new properties.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in the project management of a broad range of projects ~ from facilities, maintenance schedules, construction, renovation, implementation, equipment selection, and any other major projects that arise and need support related to facilities management

    Work as a partner to the field based facilities manager and technicians to assess challenges, work on efficiencies, and reduce overhead of operations. Schedule work and personal time symmetry, while providing the best possible support for our properties

    Work with the Operations Managers to set goals and drive the business towards them. This includes facilitating repairs and upgrades to existing equipment, managing warranties, and deciding on replacement for all major equipment

    Schedule and prioritize facilities needs for all properties through internal teams or third party vendors. Provide oversight of facilities vendors such as security, pest control, grease trap cleaning, cooking oil removal, hood cleanings, waste removal, etc

    Demonstrate preparedness in handling emergency situations that affect operations of any and all properties

    Provide support in the permitting processes, inspection support, utilities / vendor setup and management alongside the finance department. Help operations and finance in forecasting of individual property facilities spend, incidental project spends, and departmental spends

    Work with the development team during the design phase to ensure spaces are functional and serviceable

    Take an active role in new construction projects; including as needed construction meetings, owner managed contractor management, owner supplied equipment and goods

    Qualifications

    Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills and a professional, engaging, leadership style

    Exhibit a service and teamwork-focused mindset and collaborative approach to relationship building

    Experience in relevant fields such as foodservice, facilities management, construction management, project management, property management, operations, etc

    Knowledgeable in ticketing systems, facilities management platforms, project management platforms, permitting, warranty management, all a plus

    Knowledge of general construction/maintenance skills such as electrical, plumbing, hvac, carpentry, framing, painting, hvac, equipment repair, etc, all a plus

    Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the day

    Must be flexible to respond and support teams in crisis situations
