We are seeking a Project Coordinator/ Junior Account Executive to join our medical communications agency team! Supporting our Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of our medical communications and education related projects across various departments. Example projects can include:

·      clinical slide presentations

·      clinician advisory boards

·      trade journal articles and advertising (advertorials)

·      videos

·      webinars

·      key opinion leader networking meetings

·      scientific literature reviews

·      peer-reviewed medical journal articles

OUR CLIENTS (MOSTLY IN OPHTHALMOLOGY, THOUGH EXPANDING TO OTHER MEDICAL SPECIALTIES):

·      Pharmaceutical and biotech companies

·      Surgical equipment manufacturers

·      Diagnostic equipment manufacturers

·      Optical manufacturers (glass frames and spectacle lenses)

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

·      To help our small but growing team to the next level of organizational efficiency and speed

·      To maintain our already superb level of content quality for our demanding customers

·      To offer needed support in project execution in terms of working with: our clients, KOLs (key opinion leading physicians), 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors, document trafficking

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Plan and implement medical communications and education projects

·      Define, communicate, and track project timelines

·      Direct and lead the work of editorial / content, meetings planning, graphic artist staff

·      Ensure medical content pieces are submitted successfully through our pharmaceutical clients' online regulatory affairs and compliance systems and assist in their submission

·      Ensure medical publishing content is submitted to and tracked appropriately within online tracking systems

·      Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met

·      Maintain required project documentation

·      Serve as a liaison between customer (usually pharmaceutical or surgical equipment marketing or medical affairs staff) and execution aspects of projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Previous experience in a healthcare context a plus

·      Strong project management skills - desired 3-4 years of experience

·      Strong analysis and critical thinking skills

·      Deadline and detail-oriented

·      U.S. Passport required

LANGUAGES: English

EDUCATION: a Bachelor's degree

TRAVEL: post-COVID, perhaps a few times per year. Primarily in the US, but at times overseas to Europe and potentially elsewhere

REPORTING TO: Project Manager

LOCATION: Virtual, but Nashville, TN preferred. Ethis’ entire team is currently virtual.
