    ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Partnerships team. You will be joining an early-stage team that offers an opportunity to deliver a step-change impact on the business by accelerating a new, fast-growing channel. We're looking for folks who demonstrate a high degree of ownership and desire to set strategy and build new products and go-to-market solutions with their team.

This role requires entrepreneurial spirit, an extraordinary ability to get things done, and a knack for turning customer insights into better user experiences. The ideal candidate has deep intellectual capacity, analytical rigor, and creative ideas to efficiently launch and scale features.

You will be a passionate voice for the user, have strong cross-functional support, and exercise meaningful autonomy to deliver value to partners and customers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

    • Manage the full lifecycle of a product, from discovery and ideation, to experimentation, to shipping the first version, to driving continuous improvements over time; you'll own it all!
    • Implement and launch new strategic partnerships and products
    • Create a clear and compelling product roadmap based on market feedback, research, and customer understanding
    • Work closely with Design, Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Business Development, and Engineering to gather and refine product requirements and support product launches
    • Develop and operationalize the partner management program and policies, establishing best practices and shaping product support levers
    • Work cross-functionally and serve as a liaison between partners and Ethos leadership,  Product, Legal, and Operations teams
    • Inform goals and advise on associated business resource needs

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE

    • An owner's mindset - you don't shy away from the challenges
    • A deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
    • Experience conducting research to educate product design and revolve user pain points
    • Experience integrating a diverse set of partners and processes into a cohesive product
    • Strong analytical skills, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for analyzing data
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can concisely articulate customer needs, solution requirements, and product and business insights, so that your teammates and business partners can learn, grow, and work efficiently
    • Strong collaboration skills in team environments
    • An ability to decide and act quickly

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE…

    • At least 3 years of experience building consumer-facing products (esp. growth-focused roles) with clear, demonstrated results
    • Track record in managing complex partners at senior executive-levels
    • A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across teams to prioritize and build products that delight customers and deliver on company goals
    • A sense of urgency and the ability to achieve impact in a fast-paced environment
    • A strong analytical orientation -- the ability to define and implement success measures, assess validity of data, and generate insights to make decisions
    • Demonstrated hands-on execution abilities
    • A solid design and technical understanding such that you can engage with your counterparts in collaborative and productive manner
