  Description: Etna Interactive, a leading online medical and aesthetic marketing firm in San Luis Obispo, CA, is seeking a driven Web Design Intern. We value our interns and go the extra mile to make sure you receive a hands-on, holistic learning experience during your time with us. The internship offers an opportunity to work closely with a team of creative professionals working at the top in their industry. You will get an inside look into the creative process, digital marketing agency and the creative design team who work together to support a thriving business and the people that make it all happen. Must Haves: Our firm has built a name for itself in the medical marketing space, and our clients expect and deserve the attention of a professional with:

• Well-developed verbal and visual communication skills
• Can do attitude
• Confident in sharing ideas yet understanding direction
• Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
• Can juggle multiple projects
• Creatively intuitive without losing the details of multiple projects
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and XD
• Intuition and ability to know when and how to add value to tasks
• Confidence and ability to develop and evaluate a number of options and implement solutions
• Strong sense of typography
• Understanding of the needs of designing for the web and print
• Understanding of branding and how to incorporate into design
• A plus if you have UX experience, editorial experience or filming experience.
• A plus if you have an understanding of front-end technology: HTML, CSS, using browsers and inspector tools
• Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week for at least 6 months; longer duration possible
