AS A PAID SEARCH SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
- Be fluent in PPC.
- Acronyms like CTR, CPL, CPC, and CRO are part of your native language, and you know how important each one is to achieving success. Not only can you speak PPC, but you can translate it to an 8th
- You’re so fluent that Google Ads certified you.
- You know there’s no single flip of a switch to make it work, but you know all the switches to flip and how to manipulate them to achieve your goals.
- Attract opportunities.
- You thrive on testing, optimizing, and collaborating with others to produce what you need to be successful.
- You know how to optimize an account. You can structure & target improvements (geo, demographic, day-parting, keyword, and URL), frequency caps, search query reporting, keyword expansion, use of negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes and algorithms without breaking a sweat.
- You maintain your expertise in keyword research (including techniques and applicable tools).
- Thrive with a team.
- You’re not alone. Your team is here to support you, whether it’s trading managed accounts, growing your PPC skills, creating and tweaking landing pages, or investigating tracking issues.
- You’re part of Marketing Operations. This means, you’ll monitor and research trends in online media and paid programs as well as emerging trends in SEO/SEM to improve strategies, practices, and approaches. You’ll innovate new products and ensure the successful implementation of those ideas as approved by management.
- Collaborate with your team and beyond, partnering with other departments including Copy, Design, Development, and Engineering to create, launch, and track results of new products such as landing pages and conversion funnels.
Ideally, as a new Paid Search Specialist, you will have a base foundation of PPC knowledge and experience. You know what SEM is, why it’s important, and how to do it well. The most successful Etnans stay curious and like solving the many challenges and puzzles that come our way.
Paid Search Specialists work both independently and collaboratively, successfully executing our clients’ Paid Programs. They estimate, launch, and manage campaigns across North America and provide recommendations and strategic input while staying focused on the established goals.
