Etna Interactive, a remote first digital marketing agency in San Luis Obispo, CA, is seeking a *remote Web Developer – ideally a special candidate with great design instincts and at least 2 years of related experience. This role works closely with the creative teams to build beautifully designed, highly functional websites. We are looking for someone who is passionate about web development and is efficient, effective and accountable for leading successful, high-quality projects. Candidates must be located in California, Arizona, Michigan, Washington, or Georgia.

MUST HAVES:

Because our small agency has made a big name for itself in the medical marketing space, our clients expect and truly deserve the attention of an experienced professional.

• Adept at writing current, clean, compliant, search-engine friendly HTML and CSS. You can see a visual element and quickly understand how it can be encoded responsively…or where it could break across the various view ports.
• Proficiency with front-end programming using JavaScript, and experience working with JavaScript libraries like jQuery
• Proficiency with Photoshop, code editors or IDEs, and other web production tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can just as easily talk code to a peer as you can talk about project timelines and needs to the client.
• Strong task management and prioritization skills. You know how to keep yourself on time and how to keep track of where other project contributors will impact your work.
• Live examples of design and development projects
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience. You have seen some stuff out there. You know how you like to work, communicate, manage, and be managed.

WISH LIST:
