Job Description
We are looking for an Analytics Management professional to lead the analytics team that supports our Accounting, SEC Reporting, and FP&A teams. You and your team will own key data pipelines that are at the core of critical financial systems. Your team’s work is foundational to Etsy’s ability to present a clear accurate picture of our financial health, and surface insights that help drive the company’s growth.
As an Analytics Manager partnered with our Finance group, you will ensure partners have access to reporting, data, and tools needed for decision-making and optimization at all levels of the organization. The reporting your team owns forms the basis for some of our most important financial metrics including sales and revenue, and is relied on heavily for the SEC reporting we provide as a public company. This is a full-time position located in Brooklyn, reporting to the Director of Analytics for Finance, Member Services, and Trust & Safety. We’re also open to remote hires within all U.S. states except Hawaii and Alaska.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will:
Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance on specific workflows, career development, and novel analytical techniques
Work closely and collaboratively with Finance and Engineering teams to ensure we have a robust efficient pipeline for delivering critical data from our production databases to our financial reporting systems
Define metric-focused goals around data accuracy, operational efficiency, and trend analysis to guide your partner teams
Elevate the level of your team and your partners by bringing in external examples and industry perspective and ensuring we are continually refining our analytical toolkit

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you'll bring:
3+years of proven success leading Analytics teams preferably with a focus on supporting key financial data and reporting pipelines
Experience employing data scripting and analytical skills to automate reporting processes and deliver meaningful insights to partner teams
High proficiency with sophisticated analytical techniques, SQL, and data workflow tooling like Airflow
Ability to communicate insights to senior executives verbally, visually, and in writing
