    Eugenia Kim, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Intern for the Summer Semester (ideally May start) to assist the team! We are looking for an intern 4-5 days per week that has either graduated, or is a Junior or Senior. The intern will be assisting the team in all areas of product development, along with design and production, so this is a wonderful opportunity to learn about working for a luxury fashion accessories company. This position requires a high-energy, hard-working go-getter and team player that pays very strong attention to detail and believes that no task is too small.The intern works directly alongside our design, product development, and production teams. There are many opportunities for a self-motivated intern to handle a variety of projects and to learn a wide range of skills in participating in this hands-on internship. Please note that the internship has the potential to turn into a full-time position.Responsibilities:Research ideas and trends, contribute ideas and inputSource fabrics, materials, trims both locally and via showroom visits and trade shows in NYCHelping to update Excels, and make POs in QuickBooksAssist in communication with local and overseas factories, and fabric and trim vendors, including local visits to factories and fabric/trim companiesWork hands-on with the in-house sample room to help realize samplesAssist the inhouse factory with sewing including adding care labels and steaming hats in preparation for a shipment.Assist the Design and Production teams and other departments as neededRequirements:Commitment of 4-5 days per week for 4 monthsMust live in New York Metropolitan area (this is not a remote/virtual internship)1-2 previous internships in Fashion, with experience in Accessories and/or the Luxury or Advanced Contemporary sector a major plusAdobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks experience a major plusStrong communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskMust be able to receive school credit.Please note that this is an unpaid internship.Please make sure to email to careers@eugeniakim.com your resume, any relevant work, soonest available start date, and number of days per week that you can commit.
