    Eurasia Group and its media subsidiary GZERO Media convene Fortune 500 CEOs, heads of state, visionary and researchers from around the world to discussion where the world is headed and what it means for societies, markets, economies and industries. Through our world-class virtual and in-person conferences, livestreams and roundtables, we offer a platform for meaningful exchange and thoughtful debate on pressing topics including climate change and environmental sustainability, health security, global trade, cybersecurity and social justice.

    Eurasia Group’s events division is seeking an intern to provide support on upcoming virtual and in-person events. The intern will work closely with the Events Director and Managers to manage multiple projects including virtual livestreams, conferences in Canada, Japan, Mexico, and strategic events taking place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and others.

    This internship will provide opportunities to dive deeper into fields such as marketing, data analytics, media, executive communications, operations, and client management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Marketing and Data Analytics: Help execute marketing (email and social media) campaigns, develop websites, analyze event data, and copywriting for marketing collateral
    • Project management: Track project milestones and goals across all events, creating timelines and project plans
    • Executive Communications: Support speaker recruitment efforts by brainstorming potential speakers, managing invitations and speaker logistics, and coordinating speaker communications
    • Research: Conduct research on the latest event trends, technologies, competitor events, potential sponsors, topics and speakers
    • Administrative: Coordinate client and key stakeholder meetings

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants should be students at an academic institution
    • Academic background in political science, international relations, business, communications, or marketing
    • Strong writing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
    • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
    • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Cvent, and the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable, but not essential
    • Full business proficiency in the English language; additional language skills are a plus
    • Some professional experience (including internships/fellowships) in business, government, NGO, philanthropic or consulting institutions is a plus

    Timing:

    June 3 - August 2 (you must be able to attend all 9 weeks to apply)

    Location:

    Hybrid – New York (in office 2-3 days a week)

    Compensation

    $16/Hr. USD
