Job Description

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

Under Eurofins mentorship, the intern will be involved in researching clients’ sample analyses history for the US food testing division. This is an excellent opportunity for a business and/or actuarial student.  An energetic, self-starter candidate will provide support to specific US food business units by planning and supporting sales quotation creation; tracking data; preparing reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In coordination with Jason W Wiedmier, conduct primary research studies to analyze the order history of a specific set of clients
• Perform data mining tasks on internal company databases
• Analyze data for trends and report findings internally
• Collaborate with other managers as needed to support company-wide projects including quotation planning and more
• Various other research activities as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate is enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school and must have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework towards pursuing a degree in business and/or business marketing, or related field.

·         Computer skills using standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PP)

·         Interpersonal skills necessary for working in a team environment.

·         Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills a plus.

·         Ability to multi-task and follows priorities.

·         Solid command of the English language
