Are you Excel savvy?  Great with computers?  Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Project Manager to work in Easton, MD.

PRODUCTION PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Provide support to laboratory management with the production and maintenance of laboratory operations production schedules.
• Gather and monitor information needed to establish, maintain, and meet testing and reporting timelines for Studies.
• Notify the laboratory staff with information concerning the status of specific projects.
• Acquire and/or develop and maintain information concerning project status and organize it effectively and efficiently for the achievement of plans and schedules.
• Communicate needs to Client Services, service line managers and Study Directors, and Site Management for increasing unrestricted backlog related to the various service lines.
• Track progress in removing barriers to initiating individual projects and follow up to ensure that the escalation plan is being followed for removing these road blocks.
• Keep Management and Study directors informed of progress in creating unrestricted backlog for the various service lines
• Maintain a detailed change log in order to track and explain reasons that revenue within a given month has changed.
• Support the General Manager by working with them to provide supply/demand reviews for the Easton directors
• Be familiar with pertinent study protocols, GLP’s, SOP’s.
• Other duties as required for the effective and efficient operation of the laboratory and company in general.

Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and technical backgrounds; able to work both independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and has a positive attitude.
• Organized and able to handle large amounts of data and evaluate for trends or issues.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or other directly related field with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related life science field.
• Experience in a GLP environment preferred.
• Background in utilizing an ERP preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
