    Job Description Eurofins in seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst for the Eurofins Central Laboratory (ECL) division consisting of nine (9) facilities covering global geographies, based in our Lancaster PA facility.

    The Agile Business Analyst, based at one of the operating laboratories in USA or Europe and part of the Global IT Solutions team, engaging widely across the whole organization, taking an end-to-end perspective, by being responsible for domain modelling, elicitation, gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the needs of the business for technology solutions. You will play an important role by finding innovative ways to solve problems, improve processes, and add value frequently.

    Qualifications

    • Domain modeling experience in the life sciences/pharmaceutical sector
    • Experience in mockup design, user experience, BPMN mapping and notation.
    • Experience working within Software Engineering development teams and with COTS applications and Vendors
    • Certified in Business Analysis with 6 to 8 years of hand on experience as an agile Business Analyst / Functional Analyst for software solutions in developed and COTS products in a Life Sciences organisation.
    • Self-motivated, with a get-it-done attitude who enjoys working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality.
    • Ability to think critically, analytically with problem-solving skills, systems thinking, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, active listening and outstanding communication skills.
    • Effectively communicate within all levels of the organization to ensure role & project success, both excellent written, spoken English with ability to communicate and work well with discussing and presenting solutions and technical information to a non-technical audience.
    • A team player that has Scrum values of Commitment, Focus, Collaboration and be able work with influence without authority.
    • Good level of technology orientation, code development skills not necessary, but must be able to comprehend and participate in technical design discussions.
    • The role may require occasional travel to Eurofins Biopharma Services.

    • Add value to the organization by solving complex adaptive business problems, with a focus on the overall problem

    • Challenge the sponsor, problem owner and users to define the real business problem behind the expressed needs to ensure that the IT solution team is solving the right problem.
