  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Performs work in a laboratory and logistics setting, meeting the physical job requirements of the role
    • Prepares and manages inventory of buffers, reagents, media, semi-finished and finished goods
    • Supports production assays in ADMET, Ion Channel, Immunosignaling, OncoPanel™ Services, and manufacturing, lot release assays and inventory management for Cell Products
    • Receives shipments of samples for testing and completes required documentation with appropriate accountability and tracking
    • Prepares compounds for testing lab through weighing of compounds, calculating solvent volumes, accurately pipetting, dispensing, and labeling of samples
    • Maintains the organization of short- and long-term storage of samples, and disposition of samples
    • Maintains the Sample Management, Sample Freezers, and Warehouse areas
    • Supports internal and external communication regarding handling and shipping of samples
    • Receives all deliveries, sorts and distributes supplies, as required. Completes associated receiving documentation
    • Applies and demonstrates proficiency in ERP and LIMS programs, to include inventory management and compound management applications
    • Preparation, packaging, and shipping of outgoing samples, supplies and products in accordance with IATA and DOT regulations.
    • Support shipping vendors and import/export requirements through provision of required documentation and communication
    • Understands and complies with requirements for work performed at a GxP site
    • Completes required training and supports 100% of Employee Health and Safety requirements
    • Demonstrates proficiency with, care and maintenance of department equipment and assets
    • Conducts responsible use of confidential IT and business systems, as required
    • Adheres to department SOP’s and documentation requirements, maintains accurate data management and reporting
    • Supports unit goals and demonstrates Eurofins’ competencies, as defined in the job plan
    • Provides training to colleagues and external end users, when required
    • Works effectively in a team environment, under minimum direction, to achieve business production, project timelines, and quality objectives
    • Adjusts work hours and provides cross-functional support to other departments, as required, and maintains accountability in delivering to client needs/timelines
    • Routinely communicates project updates to internal and external clients
    • Performs other duties, as assigned

    • Ability to work in a laboratory setting, according to the physical requirements of a laboratory role
    • Lab equipment and office computer/software proficiency
    • Above average oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude, capacity for team environment, and exhibits a genuine interest in drug discovery in support of advancing human health
    • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, such as standard operating procedures and technical reports

    • Experience in a contract research organization
    • Experience in supply chain logistics / inventory management
    • Experience with Microsoft AX applications
    • Experience with pipetting controls and standards
    • Experience with using automated liquid handlers

    BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Good organization and documentation skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Associate Degree with 1 year of relevant experience
    • B.A. or B.S. with 6 months of relevant experience
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    Additional Information

    Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
