ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Literacy in English and ability to perform arithmetic
• Receipt, storage and registration of customer compounds
• Deliver notifications of compound receipt
•  Reference compound management: ordering, registration, and quality control
•  Maintain adequate inventory for all consumables related to the position
• Reconstitute new compound solutions from solid material as required
• Generate compound plates for testing using robotics and acoustic dispensing
• Program and operate liquid handling equipment
• Participation in, including presentations at, group laboratory meetings
• PC competence within the Microsoft suite of products, especially Outlook, Excel, and Dynamics AX
• Perform other duties as assigned / cross-functional support to other departments
• Adjust work hours as needed to meet requirements
• Adhere to site employee health and safety (EHS) regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or math
• Any compound &/or sample management, database, and data entry experience is preferred
• Use of the Scientific Method
• Ability to calculate molarity and prepare samples from stock solutions or solid material
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Any experience related to small-molecule drug discovery
• Laboratory experience is very helpful
