    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Eurofins Pharma Discovery is searching for a Global Project Manager to support and structure its rapid growth.

    The Global Project Manager primary role is to coordinate and execute global Business Improvement-related projects, with a main focus on Commercial Excellence and Client Satisfaction initiatives, within the Eurofins Pharma Discovery division.

    The Global Business Improvement Team is a small team in charge of all critical projects involving 2 or more sites within the Eurofins Pharma Discovery division – They include but are not limited to:

    • Commercial and Operational Transformation projects;
    • Lean deployment initiatives across any departments;
    • Sales, Finance and Client Services Process re-engineering;
    • Commercial excellence and Client Satisfaction programs aimed at consistently improving our commercial effectiveness.

    The responsibilities of the Project Manager include but are not limited to:

    • Working closely with key stakeholders from different sites / regions to facilitate and drive projects until completion according to a stage-gated process;
    • Analyzing commercial performance, developing and implementing group standard tools, methodologies and processes;
    • Escalating potential risks / concerns in deliverables or unforeseen issues, and soliciting feedback from leaders in implementing contingency plans to mitigate risks;
    • Reporting project status on progress, timeline, resources and budget to ensure project portfolio transparency;
    • Ensuring proper documentation of all key project deliverables and uploading documentation on internal document management system (SharePoint);
    • Sharing and implementing lessons learned across projects, deploying project management best practices within the group, as well as participating and leading general continuous improvement activities.

     

    This is a work-from-home position expected to come on site in some occasions. This position is expected to routinely interface with the global Senior Leadership Team of Eurofins Discovery and be in regular contact with the other members of the Business Improvement Project Management Team based in the United States and Europe.

    BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master degree in Business or Engineering (with excellent academic record);
    • 3+ years of working experience in Project Management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (advanced level);

    ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:

    • Certification in Project Management and/or Lean Management;
    • Experience in Management Consulting is preferred;
    • Excellent English oral and written a must. Other languages are highly appreciated (Basic notions of French and/or Spanish is a plus);
    • Knowledge of pharma drug discovery industry;
    • Strong interpersonal, adaptation and communication skills;
    • Process oriented, critical thinking, hands-on / can-do attitude.
    • Strong problem-solver with “can-do” attitude, able to both pragmatically identify issues, escalate, propose solutions and capture and understand all relevant details when necessary;
    • Solid analytical skills with ability to run quantitative and qualitative analyses from large datasets;
    • Diplomatic but able to stand his/her ground;
    • Truly agile and want to work with a highly committed team players based on trust;

    Additional Information

    Proximity to either San Diego, CA, Fremont, CA, or St. Charles, MO preferred. Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
