    This position supports the Eurofins Discovery global commercial and marketing services team to provide qualitative and quantitative insights to make business decisions that ensure organic or inorganic growth. This requires a strong understanding of the markets and submarkets that Eurofins Discovery currently operates in and a strategic view of new markets and trends. 

    The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is capable of learning on the job, taking initiative, and navigating a global, matrixed organization. He/She/They are eager to learn and apply new data analysis techniques and tools. This candidate is passionate about deriving insights, not just data and methods, through strategic thought and is able to synthesize technical concepts and implement actionable recommendations to a diverse audience.

    • Help develop, program, and test survey questionnaires using online platform to ensure overall survey quality
    • Support with the creation and analysis of discussion guides for 1-on-1 client interviews or focus groups
    • Participate on Voice of Customer (VoC) interviews with client, target customers, or internal stakeholders
    • Provide regular communications on project progress across teams (internal, with client, and with external vendors)
    • Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate project challenges in a timely manner
    • Analyze and summarize research findings in a simplified, informative style
    • Support with conducting result readout presentations to internal and client stakeholders, including mid to senior level internal leadership. 
    • Help advance internal team’s overall research capabilities by investigating new methodologies, approaches, or tools/solutions
    • Review project closure for internal team to help commercial efforts
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Current enrollment in bachelor degree program (3+ years)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
    • Knowledge of relevant marketing applications (SEO, Google Analytics, Digital Advertising)
    • Experience combining business insight with data expertise to ensure an accurate interpretation of results.
    • Capability to build a story and communicate insights clearly and effectively to a wide audience of relevant stakeholders
    • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer indefinitely, without sponsorship.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS: 

    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, collect and analyze new valuable data (primary and secondary) from internal and external sources
    • Degree in STEM discipline with a background in math, business analytics, marketing, or communications
    • Familiarity using business intelligence and data visualization tools
    • Leverage analytical, statistical, and/or programming skills to deliver insights and business tools to drive data-driven decision-making across the global commercial organization with a focus on client and competitor insights
    • Synthesize research learning across projects to develop actionable insights and recommendations that shape commercial strategies and tactics.
    • Develop presentations and maintain customer and competitor insights dashboards/reports for use across the commercial organization.
    • Produce and distribute regular reports to various stakeholders that can be used for monthly/quarterly business review meetings or business case development
    • Cross-reference and distribute data across organization to ensure data integrity for accuracy
    • Locate and define new process or data management improvements opportunities
    • Builds solid relationships as a team player, while maintaining objectivity and lack of bias to represent the voice of the customer
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
    • Ability to understand and translate customers behavior and industry trends into actionable insights
    • Ability to work independently as well as in strategic team settings
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to drive and achieve desired objectives
