Qualifications
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven success in managing an engineering team
- Proven success in managing a environmental laboratory with strong ability in quality assurance, customer service, and subject matter expertise
BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSME/EE or 10+ years of related industry experience
- Ability to design/troubleshoot/maintain electro-mechanical system
- SME – Environmental/Dynamics/Electronics
- Developing detailed plans for new designs and products
- Making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs
- Proposing project and program budgets
- Hiring and supervising staff
- Leading research and development projects that produce new designs, products and processes
- Checking their team's work for technical accuracy
- Ensuring the validity of methods used by staff
- Coordinating work with other managers and staff
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and use scissor lifts to mount devices, such as antennas
- Ability to safely use power tools and perform light machining
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
