    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collection efforts
      • Uses the weekly aging file to check on past due invoices and make contact with clients with outstanding invoices
      • Sends hold requests to upper management for unresponsive clients and/or clients with past due accounts
      • Regularly checks for payments in the bank account to update the aging file and look for prepayments required for study initiation (new clients and large studies)
    • Accounts Payable
      • Assists with weekly AP,
      • Assists in month end close for AP; accrual file
    • Miscellaneous
      • Handles client requests for study problems / reconciliations, WIP, supplier registration forms, AR statements, etc.
      • Assists the BDs, Client Services, and Study Directors in internal requests for study information, AX information, past billing information
      • Troubleshooting AX issues with invoicing / Sales Orders
      • Assists other EPDS sites with collections and payment processing
      • Assists the NSC with inquiries, unapplied cash, and mis-deposits
      • Completes various other tasks, internally and externally, as needed
      • Monitors need for additional financial dimension
    • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
    • Regular attendance and punctuality
    • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness
    • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required
    • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
    • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

    • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or general business
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience
    • Prior collections and accounts receivable experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the business
    • Strong computer and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
    • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

    Additional Information

    The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Candidates within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
