Eurofins Eaton Analytical is searching for an Analytical Services Manager Assistant I in Monrovia, CA.

ANALYTICAL SERVICES MANAGER ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

·         Performs administrative and technical responsibilities

·         Assists with Sample Receiving and Shipping

·         Assists Lab Analytical Services Managers with Sample Group set up, Bottle Orders, and login review

·         Prepares client specific deliverables, work with LIMS and create/edit EDDs

·         Communicates with Clients on bottle kits and other project related deliverables

·         Upload data to client or regulatory databases

·         Manages subcontracted work to outside labs

·         Assist with field sample collection

·         Perform other duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS:

·         Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

·         Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

·         Microbiology experience or coursework is desired

·         Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations

·         Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Monrovia, California are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

·         Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed

·         Must be able to lift 35 pounds

·         Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
