Job Description

• Routinely performs wet chemistry, analytical, and chromatographic analysis (HPLC, IC, GC, etc).
• Develops basic analytical methods with supervision on a variety of techniques and instrumentation.
• Performs method verification and/or method validation by contributing to writing protocols, reports and analytical methods with supervision.
• Fundamentally understands and complies with GMP guidelines and generates, analyzes and reports both GMP and non-GMP data.
• Grasps a general understanding of drug development processes and contributes to scientific discussions during project team meetings.
• Assists in basic technical transfer to a manufacturing site or contract laboratory.
• Assists in responding to CMC deficiencies from FDA or other regulatory agencies.
• Contributes to authoring and review of technical reports and protocols.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 1 semester or 6 months exposure to a chemistry laboratory (either through internship, undergrad research, etc.).  MS +0 years with similar background.  Some industrial laboratory exposure/experience preferred but not required.
• Technical writing experience/skills.
• Modern digital competency (experience with Microsoft productivity tools as well as general technical software understanding)
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC
