Job Description

• Prepare tobacco and/or vaping samples prior to distribution to appropriate laboratories for analyses
• Ensures adequate charging of vaping products products prior to analyses
• Ensure sample paperwork is accurate and complete; ensure labels are accurate
• Aliquot and distributes samples to laboratories
• Manage sample inventory, including storage and disposal
• Ensure proper chain of custody and check sample labels against paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with customer base submitting samples, as well as labs receiving samples for testing
• Follow SOP’s and adheres to high quality standards
• Proactively seeks ways to improve processes and create efficiencies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Very strong computer and organizational skills
• Very high level of attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• Excellent communication (oral and written)
• High level of professionalism as a client-interfacing ambassador of the company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• At least two years of related laboratory or quality control experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
