Job Description

** Job Responsibilities:**

• Perform ELISAs, cell or tissue culture-based assays on live vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples
• Analyze and review data
• Prepare solutions and culture media
• Maintain multiple cell lines
• Good trouble shooting ability with cell lines
• Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Work independently and efficiently
• Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
• Communicate effectively with client staff members

Qualifications

** The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:**

• At least 3 years related laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniques is a must have
• Automation experience preferred but not required
• Biology, Biochemistry, or Virology Background
• General laboratory skills and experience with pipettes
• Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

** Minimum Qualifications:**

• B.S. in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related science and 3+ Years industry Cell Culture experience in a GMP atmosphere
• Must be willing and able to lift 20 lbs
• Proficient with Excel
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
