Job Description

Position will provide continued, uninterrupted deviation investigation support operations for a client in North Carolina. This support will include the following:

• Perform process deviation investigations at the client manufacturing site, focusing on filling and finishing areas
• Position will entail performance after initial impact assessments, use of approved root cause analysis tools, consulting with cross-functional team, and subject matter experts (SMEs) knowledgeable of the impacted process, and documentation of the required information in the client-approved global Quality Tracking System (gQTS).
• Completion of the investigation within the procedurally required thirty (30) day timeframe and /or appropriate status reports if closure is delayed due to factors beyond the reasonable control of the investigator personnel.
• May require presenting investigations to Site Leadership Team in a review forum
• Assist in work completion, identify and call out improvement opportunities, lead them, and drive the opportunities to completion
• Work to elevate and improve performance and productivity of the team
• Serve as a knowledge leader for the team and a SME resource for other investigators
• Ability to participate in lab activities with other site colleagues and act as a mentor/coach
• Expected to help stabilize the investigations team both through workload and issue resolution
• The consulting investigator(s) will report directly to the Operations Investigation Manager or designee who will assign the consulting investigator to support one (1) to three (3) operations investigations lead (supervisors) as determined.
• Consultant is expected to perform walkthroughs of the areas where the deviation occurred and ensure they have a thorough understanding of associated manufacturing processes. Investigations will not be performed from the desk.

Qualifications

• Experience performing investigations using Method I/DMAIC process; Global Quality Tracking System (gQTS); performing historical searches; interviewing colleagues; review of supporting documentation (batch records, technical assessments, SOPs, etc.)
• Able to perform under pressure and drive to meet commitments
• Capable of staying focused and engaged working onsite
• Effective communication as daily/weekly status investigation meetings require full engagement with Leads, SMEs, Quality, and Site Leadership
• Must possess good technical writing skills.
• Must possess good communication skills and lead cross-functional
