Job Description

• Work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment.

• Maintains laboratory purchased reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging inventory, and stocking. Determines and responds to material alert levels as required.
• Coordinates sample and reagent transfers/shipments, verifying integrity of received materials.
• Coordinates calibration and preventative maintenance of instruments/devices.
• Scheduling and coordinating calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair work performed by outside contractors.
• Review of vendor documentation in support of preventative maintenance and repair work.
• Initiate, track, and close work records in BMRAM equipment database as needed.
• Performs data entry into quality systems to ensure compliance with standards.
• Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements and maintains inspection readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a science, business, or related discipline preferred
• May consider another degree discipline with relevant experience
• cGMP experience is desirable.
• Thrive working in a fast-paced environment and can multitask
• Can perform tasks within appropriate timeframes while maintaining accuracy

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $19.50/hr-22.50/hr and based on education and experience level.
