Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring scientist to join our fast-paced, interdisciplinary team as we leverage innovative RNA/oligonucleotide/gene and genomic based therapeutic modalities to deliver new novel therapies into patients.

Job Description:

• Contributes as part of a team that characterizes lead therapeutic molecules

• Run plate-based assays (qRT-PCR)

• Run fully and semi-automated liquid handlers

• Provide cell culture support

• Prepare solutions and culture media

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Provide routine assay result analysis and experiment documentation

• Work collaboratively within team on-site to achieve critical research objectives according to defined timelines

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience with cell-based and plate-based assays

• Experience with basic molecular biology techniques including PCR or qPCR

• Experience with any type of lab automation is highly desirable

• Experience working with RNA and oligonucleotides is desirable

• Experience working with aseptic tissue culture techniques, cell maintenance, cell transfection, and media formulation is a plus

• Must be able to track and document on-going projects and discuss data

• Excellent written and verbal communication, data analysis, and record keeping skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting are essential

• Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S degree in Biological sciences (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or similar field) with 2-4 years relevant laboratory experience

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States

• Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cambridge, MA are encouraged to apply.
