    Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for Processing Technicians/Operators to support our Professional Scientific Services group in in Bothell, WA. 

    EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work in a GMP warehouse that supports the distribution, receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices including cycle counting, and rejected/expired material disposition
    • Manage environmental systems including temperature, humidity and pest control monitoring for GMP environments
    • Operate inventory movement vehicles in a warehouse environment
    • Support setting up warehouse operations equipment/fixtures. Perform facility and equipment commissioning activities.
    • Maintain the equipment, supplies, materials and general GMP maintenance of the facility
    • Operate primary production equipment within the assigned functional area.
    • Support the management of material and components inventory level.
    • Generate, and maintain GMP documentation required by site policies, protocols, SOPs, and GMP requirements.
    • Assist in efficient operations, troubleshooting, process improvements, and other activities as required to support the manufacturing facility.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS:

    • At least 1 year of experience in a GMP environment
    • 2-5 years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment and understanding of Supply Chain Management and APICS best practices for warehouse operations.
    • Experience in the implementation and use of ERP/MRP software systems.
    • DOT/IATA/HazMat experience and certifications a plus.
    • Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
    • Ability to learn procedures and to use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
    • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
    • Ability to pass a certification test to utilize inventory movement vehicles
    • Ability to wear safety and protective gear including scrubs, lab coat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, protective shoes in a manufacturing environmental
    • Ability to work with the physical demands of the position which include:

    1.      ​Standing/walking for several hours at a time

    2.      Carry, lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly

    3.      Climbing ladders or stairwells several times a day 

    4.      Bending or kneeling several times a day

    5.      Overhead reaching   

    6.      Repetitive use of arms/wrists/hands while setting up equipment and processing

    7.      Exposure to typical manufacturing, laboratory, mechanical and warehouse environments.

    8.      Exposure to outdoor elements as required for material receiving, material shipment, operation of material handling equipment, etc

    • Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent
    • Reliable,  hardworking team player
    • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and work in a team environment
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    Additional Information

    Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Bothell, WA are encouraged to apply.
