Eurofins Abraxis is searching for a Chemical Operating Associate -Intern in Horsham, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Compliance with all SOPs and batch records
• Preparation of reagents, buffers and solutions
• Maintaining safe working conditions with a focus on chemical MSDS
• Bottle/vial filling (knowledgeable in regards to cross-contamination), sealing, and labeling
• Kit manufacturing
• Keep record of solutions and chemicals used

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS:

• Scientific background (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field)
• People management skills
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written), with astute attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

The position is a 40 hr per week intern, Monday-Friday. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Horsham, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

BASIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other related concentration
• 0-3 years of laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
