Responsibilities: • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes Qualifications: • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • Possess a high school diploma or GED • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus Compensation: $30 - $50 hourly
