Europa Village is seeking a part-time Banquet Food Runner-Dishwasher to provide authentic and anticipatory service at our resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Strong work ethic is a must. Previous banquet experience is a plus. Reports to:

Responsibilities Specific to Banquet Dishwasher:

Possess and live Europa Village core values.

Ability to carry trays of food from the Chef's station to the banquet area in a timely manner.

Is the point of contact between the Back of the House team and Front of the House team.

Assists the Banquet team in setting up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations and napkins as indicated by the Banquet Event Order (BEO).

Removes dirty dishes from table.

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.

Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.

Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.

Change dishwater in dish machine regularly.

Wash by hand items too large for dish machine.

Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.

Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.

Sweep and mop floors.

Ability to assemble and disassemble dish machine when needed.

Ensure hands are washed after touching dirty dishes and before touching clean dishes.
