Europa Village is looking to fill the position of a full-time Laundry & Public Area Attendant. The ideal candidate will be organized, have an eye for attention to detail, a minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience and a strong work ethic. Must have exceptional customer service skills.

Laundry/Room Attendant Reports to:

Guest Services Manager

Responsibilities Specific to Laundry/Room Attendant:

Possess and live Europa Village core values.

Provides a constant supply of clean linens for all rooms.

Sorts all linens and treats stains.

Loads all laundry into washer and adds specified cleaning agents. Once washed, removes items from washer and dry as directed.

Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.

Maintains inventory of laundry, cleaning supplies and notifies Guest Services Manager when inventory is low.

Ensures the common areas, hallways and restrooms are clean and up to Europa Village standards.

Ability to follow a daily check list of items needing detailing.

Sweeps hard floors in common areas. Mops when necessary.

Empties trash cans and cigarette receptacles.

Maintains cleanliness of outdoor seating areas.

Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.

Able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
