Europa Village is looking to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be a "jack-of-all-trades," with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, plumbing, electrical and construction repairs. This candidate must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.Reports to:

    Facilities Supervisor

    Responsibilities Specific to Facilities Maintenance Technician:

    Possesses and lives Europa Village core values.

    Performs a variety of routine maintenance for hotel rooms, tasting rooms, restaurant and kitchen.

    Skilled in plumbing and electrical repairs and in construction.

    Performs grounds keeping tasks such as weeding, planting flowers and plants, mowing grass, and other duties as assigned.

    Ensures all facilities are consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.

    Conducts maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and changing filters.

    Assembles, repairs, installs, maintains and moves furniture, appliances and other equipment. Furniture includes but is not limited to items such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves and related fittings and fixtures.

    Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel and follows safety protocols.

    Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.

    Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples include but are not limited to repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors, etc.

    Identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to manager.

    Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.

    Monitors inventory, orders supplies, and maintains purchase records according to budget.

    Maintains records and logs of daily activities.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

    Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
