    European Sales Manager

    The European Sales Manager will work closely with the International Sales Director to accelerate the growth of a leading nutraceutical brand throughout Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who understands the complexities of the European retail landscape and has a proven history of driving sales within the nutraceutical or natural supplements sector. You will lead efforts to expand market reach, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen brand visibility across multiple European regions. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships and navigate diverse markets will be essential in advancing our goals of promoting global wellness.

    Location: This position is U.S.-based and fully remote, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 25–30%.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Develop annual strategic sales plans aimed at strengthening and expanding distribution throughout Europe.

    • Partner with regional distributors to establish clear trade channel strategies and in-market activation plans.

    • Identify opportunities to enter new European markets where the brand is not yet represented.

    • Track market trends, competitor activity, product innovations, pricing, and overall sales performance; relay insights to the international team.

    • Manage relationships with major multi-country FDM retail accounts.

    • Collaborate with the International Sales Director and Category Manager on sales forecasts, business plans, marketing budgets, and expenditure approvals for the European business.

    • Coordinate with the Business Development Manager to navigate regulatory hurdles and create workable solutions.

    • Maintain consistent communication with international and internal teams, including operations, finance, marketing, and sales.

    • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the European region.

    • Research and evaluate prospective distributors and new business opportunities.

    • Lead contract negotiations and finalize commercial agreements.

    • Oversee logistics and product shipments in partnership with the international operations team.

    • Represent the brand at industry trade events and meetings.

    • Contribute to a collaborative, well-connected international team environment.

    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Key Impact Areas

    • Strengthen engagement with retail buyers by clearly communicating the brand’s value and product advantages.

    • Contribute to strategy development to enhance brand visibility and access within European retail channels.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of sales management experience in the European natural supplements or nutraceutical industry.

    • Demonstrated success selling to major European retail accounts.

    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

    • Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to achieve aggressive sales objectives.

    • Comfortable working independently and in a remote environment.

    Compensation:

    • $100,000 - $120,000 with bonus and full health benefits
