    Job Description:

    This is a hybrid work schedule! Candidates would be expected to report into schools 3 days a week, with work-from-home flexibility for 2 days.

    The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with school leadership, students, parents, teachers, and school support staff to help our students achieve the highest degree of academic, emotional, and behavioral success. Your job is to hold all students to high expectations and support the needs of a diverse student population by providing high-quality, fully comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations that will allow students to gain access to the services they need to excel academically. Reporting directly to the Network Sprint/Special-Education Department, the School Psychologist is responsible for all necessary psycho-educational evaluations (including the standard battery of academic, cognitive and social-emotional testing as well as any supplemental testing) required for a cohort of schools.

    In this role you will:

    • Conduct full-battery Psycho-educational evaluations for scholars referred for IEPs;
    • Support a rotating cluster of schools within a designated region/borough;
    • Collaborate, consult, and strategize with other school-based professionals to ensure that all testing and service recommendations are equitable and appropriate;
    • Join IEP meetings and present clinical findings as necessary to support positive outcomes for high needs cases;
    • Communicate with caregivers to review evaluation results and provide support that can assist in streamlining the IEP referral process.

    We’d be excited to hear from you if:

    • You hold a valid NY State School Psychologist certification;
    • You have experience with a variety of psycho-educational and behavioral assessment tools;
    • You are proficient in testing using Q Interactive;
    • You have excellent technology skills, including use of Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs) and Mac OS;
    • You have excellent organization, communication and problem solving skills;
    • You are a person of high moral character;
    • You are passionate about learning.

    We are reviewing candidates for a Summer 2024 start date.

    Compensation:

    Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $77,000.00
