  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Evaluation Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on data collection and analytical methods, developing evaluation frameworks, identifying research-based key performance indicators and measures, and providing technical assistance to programs. This role will also involve collaborating with various teams to create a systems change framework and supporting knowledge management efforts. Strong analytical and organizational skills required. Must possess expert level knowledge of MS Excel.

    Key responsibilities
    • Research, identify, and refine relevant, research-based performance indicators and outcome measures.
    • Work collaboratively with various teams to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic evaluation frameworks
    • Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for diverse audiences (e.g., program staff, leadership, funders, board members).
    • Support knowledge management efforts, including collaborating with workgroups to create a Sharepoint knowledge hub
    • Respond to time-sensitive technical assistance requests from various programs

    Qualifications and experience
    • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience designing, planning, and implementing program monitoring and evaluations activities, preferably within a non-profit or foundation.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing program frameworks (logic models, theories of change) and identifying meaningful, research-based KPIs and outcome measures.
    • Strong understanding and proven application of both quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methodologies, data collection techniques, and analysis.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and visualization.
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw sound conclusions.
    • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Preferred:
    • Master's degree in a relevant field (as listed above) with a focus on research methods or program evaluation.
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
