About the Role:

Join Early Start Childcare as an Evening Childcare Manager, where you'll play a vital role in nurturing and guiding our young learners during evening hours. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and create a safe, engaging environment for children in Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities:

Oversee evening operations and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children.

Supervise and support childcare staff to enhance their effectiveness and engagement.

Develop and implement evening activity programs that promote learning and fun.

Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their children's progress and needs.

Monitor compliance with safety regulations and childcare standards.

Conduct staff training and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.

Collaborate with management to improve evening program quality and parent satisfaction.

Manage scheduling and staffing needs for evening shifts efficiently.

Requirements:

Child Development Associate or higher education in Early Childhood Education .

Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare or education settings.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children and parents.

CPR and First Aid certification required.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Passion for fostering a positive learning environment for children.
