Step into a key leadership role overseeing evening operations within a high-volume Emergency Department in Dallas. This position offers the opportunity to lead during peak patient flow hours, driving throughput, team performance, and patient experience.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage Emergency Department operations during evening shift hours
Oversee patient flow, staffing assignments, and departmental throughput during peak volume times
Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to ensure high performance and engagement
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery and patient outcomes
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including wait times, LOS, and patient satisfaction
Manage operational challenges in real-time, ensuring safe and efficient patient care
Support budget adherence, resource allocation, and staffing productivity
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and quality initiatives
Drive process improvement efforts focused on efficiency and patient-centered care
Qualifications
Required
Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting
Strong experience with staff management, operations, and physician collaboration
BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
TNCC within 18 months
ENPC or CEN within 18 months
Preferred
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience managing throughput, patient flow, and high-volume ED operations
