    Kidlavie is a family-focused entertainment and indoor playground concept offering creative programs, birthday parties, classes, and special events. We emphasize fun, learning, and inclusion — especially for children with special needs. Our Omaha location is expanding, and we are seeking a talented and organized Event & Art Manager to oversee our creative programming and event operations.

    Position: Event & Art Manager

    About the Role

    The Event & Art Manager will lead all creative, artistic, and event-based activities within the center. This includes managing birthday parties, seasonal celebrations, art workshops, themed events, and community programs. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, great with kids and families, and able to manage multiple events simultaneously.

    You will also help maintain the visual appearance of the center, including murals, decorations, and seasonal displays.

    Key Responsibilities

    Event Coordination

    Plan, organize, and execute children’s events, birthday parties, and seasonal celebrations.

    Coordinate schedules, staffing, and event logistics.

    Create event themes, activities, and décor concepts.

    Communicate with parents and clients to ensure smooth event experiences.

    Manage event budgets and supply ordering.

    Art & Creative Program Management

    Lead art classes, craft workshops, and creative play activities.

    Design and prepare age-appropriate art projects.

    Help maintain the artistic and visual presentation of the center.

    Oversee seasonal decorating, wall art, and creative displays.

    Coordinate with mural artists or vendors as needed.

    Customer Service & Guest Interaction

    Greet families and ensure high-quality customer experience during events.

    Handle feedback or concerns professionally.

    Maintain a family-friendly, inclusive environment.

    Team Collaboration & Management

    Train and supervise event assistants or party staff.

    Work closely with operations, kitchen, and front desk teams.

    Ensure safety guidelines are followed during all activities.

    Requirements

    Experience in event planning, art instruction, early childhood education, or related fields.

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    Creativity in planning activities, décor, and event themes.

    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Ability to lead groups of children and manage fast-paced environments.

    Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and setting up event materials.

    Weekend availability (peak event times).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Background in art, design, or creative education.

    Experience working with children and families.

    Experience in entertainment centers, children’s programs, or hospitality.

    Ability to create digital content for social media (photos, videos, event highlights).
